Visitors entitled to free or reduced-fee admission

Persons entitled to reduced admission from 1 April to 31 October:

children and young people aged 6 to 25 from countries outside the European Union, showing their passport to confirm their age and country of origin;

Greek citizens and citizens of the other Member States of the European Union and of the European Economic Area over 65 years of age, displaying their police identity or passport to confirm their age and country of origin;

accompanying parents to educational visits of first level schools from Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area;

accompanying teachers on educational visits of schools and institutions of the fir st, second and third grades from countries outside the European Union.

children and young people up to 25 years of age from Member States of the European Union, displaying their identity card or passport to confirm their
age and country of origin;

children up to 5 years of age from countries outside the European Union, showing their passport to confirm their age and country of origin

persons above 25 years old in secondary schools (evening schools, Second Chance Schools, EPAL) and vocational schools (EPAS OAED) of European
Union and European Economic Area Member States, by demonstrating a certificate of attendance in which the duration of validity will be included,

accompanying teachers during educational visits of schools and institutions of the first, second and third levels from Member States of the European
Union and European Economic Area;

Social Solidarity Income Participants (KEA) and their dependents, by displaying their polic e identity and a beneficiary's entry certificate regarding participation in the KEA program, for the period indicated therein, as well as a valid document certifying their dependents,

the holders of a national unemployment card, displaying their police ID and a valid unemployment certificate or recent renewal thereof,

persons with disabilities and one of their c ompanions (the latter provided that the said persons have a disability of more than 80%), regardless of country
of origin, by displaying their police ID or passport and an EFK Disability Certificate. (Resolution of the Disability Certification Center - KEPA) for residents of the country or similar certificate from a relevant competent foreign body,

parents of large families of nationals whose children aren't above 25 years of age or regardless of age if they have a disability, by displaying their police ID and a valid certificate of related status from the Supreme Confederation of Parents of Large Families, as well as a Certificate of Invalidity. (decision of the Disability Certification Center),

parents of families of nationals with three children whose age does not exceed 25 years of age or regardless of age if they have a disability, by displaying their police ID and a valid certificate of related status from the Supreme Confederation of Parents of Large Families, as well as a Certificate of Invalidity.

parents of single parent families whose children aren't above 25 years of age or regardless of age if they have a disability, by displaying their police ID and

refugees, displaying an International Protection Card or a Travel Document of 28 July 1951 Convention (recognized refugee passport) or a Foreign Travel Document (recognized passport holder of subsidiary protection) or a Residence Permit;

servicemen doing their military service, with a demonstration of a valid Armed Forces ID card;

Greek Olympic Winners, displaying their police ID and membership card of the Hellenic Olympic Winners Association;

the official guests of the Greek State at the request of the competent Ministry on a case-by-case basis (Directorate / Office of Etiquette), subject to
approval by the Directorate-General for Antiquities and Cultural Heritage;

card holders of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and of the International Council of Monuments and Sites (IC OMOS), displaying their ID or
passport and the ICOM / ICOMOS membership card in force;

members of Societies and Associations of Friends of Archaeological Sites and Museums, which belong to the State and are managed by the Ministry of Culture, by displaying the relevant membership card in force;

active employees of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Fund of Archaeological Proceeds, the Acropolis Museum and the Kanellopoulos Museum,
displaying their service identity;

specialist scientists licensed for the purpose of photographing, studying, drawing or publishing antiquities by demonstrating the relevant authorization;

the members of the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Ar ts, by displaying a membership card, in force;

Greek tour guides, displaying their professional identity;

journalists, with the demonstration of journalistic identity, in force;

holders of a Free Entry Card, by displaying it;

members of the Hellenic Society of Art Historians, by displaying a valid membership card.
